The City of Maple Ridge (hereinafter referred to as “the City”) invites proposal submissions from interested and experienced parties to provide all labour, materials and equipment to perform the data re-cabling and server room relocation at City of Maple Ridge Operations Centre located at 23925 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge, BC. The work generally includes but is not limited to the supply and installation of new communications cabling throughout the facility (including removal of all redundant cabling), and the installation of new cable tray. The work also includes full construction of a new server room in a new location and decommissioning of the old server room after cutover. The new server room will include new server racks, cable tray, seismic supports, structural reinforcements, and a new rooftop HVAC unit (indoor/outdoor). Careful coordination will be required for any outages, as this is a 24/7 facility with very limited tolerance for downtime. Proponents are strongly encouraged to attend the non-mandatory site visit scheduled for February 8, 2023 at 2:00pm. Please see the RFP for full details. |
