The City of Maple Ridge (“City”) requests Proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms with proven expertise in developing an Urban Forest Management Strategy (“UFMS”) as further described in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).

The Urban Forest Management Strategy will describe a strategy for the City to best prepare itself for the future growth of the community while maintaining alignment with City Council’s strategic priorities, the City’s Official Community Plan (OCP), and the City’s long-term financial planning and operational capacity.  The strategy will consider all aspects of various departments operational, planning, and administrative functional areas as they relate to the urban forest.
