The City of Maple Ridge (“City”) invites Tenders for North Alouette River gravel removal at two bridge locations for the purpose of flood abatement. The crossings are located on 224 Street, immediately north of 132 Avenue and on 132 Avenue approximately 50m east of Edge Street. The work generally consists of gravel removal via hydrovac services, some gravel removal via shovel, traffic control, decanting, and transportation of gravels to a city provide site located at 24959 Alouette Road, Maple Ridge.  Payment method will be based on the volume of gravels collected. The City of Maple Ridge will be appointing a surveyor to confirm volume of gravel transported to the city provided storage site.
