Description: 

The City of Maple Ridge (the “City) requests Proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide field investigative services and analysis of the Fraser River Escarpment (FRE) area.  An area that extends from 207 Street to 224 Street and from the Fraser River to 124 Avenue in Maple Ridge, BC. 

The work includes, but is not limited to, completion of Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) and drilled bore holes, to close the gaps in the City’s understanding of the sub-surface conditions of the FRE. The investigation, includes the following: 

  • Drilling test holes 
  • Supply and Install nested vibrating wire piezometers in selected bore holes
  • Collecting, reading and analysing the data
  • Updating the geologic model
