City of Maple Ridge (the “City”) invites bids from experienced and qualified firms for the replacement of the bulk water fill station at Jackson Road and 101 Avenue in Maple Ridge, BC.
 

The work generally consists of disconnection and removal of the existing overhead electrical service and meter pole, decommissioning and removal of the existing bulk water fill station and island, supply
and placement of new electrical service and communication conduit, connection of existing pedestrian crossing and streetlight to new Hydro service box, placement of new concrete island and bollards,
installation of City supplied pre-fabricated bulk fill station and Simcom terminal, and grading and restoration of site and vehicle access corridors (Recycled asphalt gravels supplied by City) and all other
associated civil, electrical and mechanical work as shown on the contract drawings. The temporary disconnection and reconnection of the water supply line is to be coordinated with and completed by
City forces.

It is intended that this work is to commence on October 14, 2024 to reduce the impact to the bulk water fill station customers with a completion date no later than November 29, 2024.
